WHO Growth Charts

WHO child growth standards were developed using data collected in the WHO Multicenter Growth Reference Study. Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) suggests the use of these charts since India was one of the participating countries in the generation of these charts. You can download and print these charts from the link below and use them to track progress of your patients.

WHO Motor Development Milestones

The window of achievement of 6 gross motor milestones was developed based on Motor development study, which was a component of WHO Multicenter Growth Reference Study (MGRS). The MGRS windows of achievement have been constructed to depict the range in ages of achievement of key motor milestones in healthy children from around the world. Body mass index (BMI) is calculated from a person's height and weight. It provides reliable indicator of body fatness for most people and is commonly used to classify underweight, over-weight and obesity in adults. Click on the link below to go to our online calculator.

Body Surface Area calculator

Body surface area (BSA) is used to calculate drug doses for pediatric patients. BSA can be calculated by using standard nomogram which includes both height and weight. Here we provide BSA calculations using 2 methods - Mostellers and DuBois & DuBois which can accessed using the link below.
